Language Support Disclaimer
The similarity checking features used for plagiarism detection are currently supported by Turnitin for approximately 176 languages. Translating matching (checking for plagiarism in one language of a source in another language) is available for most, but not all of these languages. Turnitin's databases for sources written in languages that are less widely spoken globally are less developed than others, but Turnitin is continually adding new sources to make similarity checks more effective.
Important: Some of the newer features of Turnitin Feedback Studio have limited language support. For example, AI Writing Detection is currently available only in English. The same is true of the citation-checking and grammar-checking functions of Draft Coach.
Learning Management Systems Integration
For Learning Management Systems (LMS) integration (Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, Populi, etc.), see https://help.turnitin.com/feedback-studio/integrations.htm.
Important: Some LMS’s cannot accomodate multiple Turnitin licenses. Therefore, if your school is already using Turnitin with an LMS, you will need to check with your LMS provider if you are able to switch from your current license to the REASSESS Network’s license.
